The Children's Place is one of my favorite stores for cute clothes for kids at affordable prices. With the colder months approaching, I have been going through my daughter's things and putting aside her tanks and shorts only to find out that I was short on winter gear for her growing body. Since my baby was born in the summer (where does the time go?), I was well stocked with short sleeved onesies but was desperately needing long-sleeved shirts and pants. With the holidays approaching I was also in need of some cute and comfortable dresses where I found exactly what I was looking for during a recent shopping event at the Children's Place.
Armed with a gift card, I started by looking for my growing daughter where I found a fantastic sweater, some long-sleeve shirts, a pair of tights and gorgeous cream-colored skirt that the wants to wear all of the time.
Heart Sweater. I instantly gravitated towards this sweater since my daughter is such a huge purple and hearts fan. For only $9.99, this sweater was a great find that she adores. I love its cute bottom ruffle trim and its simple pullover style.
Ruffle Bip Bop. Another purple shirt, I loved the cute ruffles that was great as a casual look to school or a fun top with a skirt for the holidays. This was also another steal at $9.99.
Glitter Mircofiber Tights. Winter is all about keeping warm and since my daughter loves her skirts and dresses I want her to stay comfortable with great tights. I loved the heart design that I knew would go well with her holiday skirt (see below) as well as the material of nylon with a touch of spandex for the perfect stretch.
Mesh Rosette Bubble Skirt. My daughter's new favorite skirt that she wore to Thanksgiving, two birthday parties and a trip to the circus. I loved the simple cream color with its subtle touch of shine.
For my sweet baby, I also found a cute holiday sweater dress, a few bodysuits, a pajama, and some incredibly soft shoes.
Pretty Tee. I guess I do have a thing for purple, but it is easy to see why when you look at this cute purple star shirt. This was a great deal and the shirt was also tagless and pre-washed to feel gentle on baby's skin.

Lil' Dazzle Mary Jane. My little one may not be walking yet but good footwear is a great way for her to get used to wearing shoes. I loved the slivery and circular design and adjustable strap that easily fastens with hook-and-loop closures.
Little Talker Bodysuit. I thought this was pretty cute and playful graphic that my baby would 'rock.' I also loved the feel of the material that is made with combed cotton jersey as well as how functional it was thanks to its pullover style with easy-access snaps at shoulders and leg inseams.
Little Talker Bodysuit (Penguin). Another bodysuit but this one features an adorable penguin all wrapped up in ear muffs and a scarf.
Ski Panda Strechie. I loved this cute sleeper complete with its collection of skiing panda bears. The super-soft combed cotton with its rib-knit trim was also great for my baby's skin.
Snowflake Sweater Dress. My baby wore this adorable dress for Thanksgiving with some leggings and I loved the color (purple, of course!) with stripes as well as the cute snowflake that has a rib-knit trim at the neck and three cute buttons. This is also perfect for the winter that can easily go on top of one of her new bodysuits.
