The World'??s Biggest Virtual Baby Shower

Today, the UN Foundation, BabyCenter and ABC News will host the Million Moms Challenge Baby Shower, a virtual baby shower for global good to raise awareness on maternal and children'??s health.

Dubbed as "the world's biggest baby shower," experts from UNICEF, ABC News, the UN Foundation and the Motherhood will make brief remarks on the phone and on Twitter at 9:00am on why children'??s health is so important as they share some of their personal experiences with children around the world. Additionally, an interactive question and answer session will follow the discussion.

This hour-long discussion is part of the 8-hour-long online party (held from 8:00-5:00pm) that will be held on Twitter (#amillionmoms) and in the BabyCenter Community. You can join in at any time during the day and those who participate may win exciting prizes like handmade scarves and jewelry, free-trade coffee, blankets, DVD copies of Ricki Lake'??s documentary, The Business of Being Born, pedometers and an iPod Nano.

This virtual baby shower aims to raise awareness for underserved moms and children around the globe while promoting the recently launched Million Moms Challenge, a joint effort of ABC News and the UN Foundation with support from corporate sponsor Johnson & Johnson.
