Dress For A Cause: Tea Collection Launches Online Emmy'??s Dress Auction to Benefit the Global Fund for Children

To mark the season of giving, Tea Collection '?? the globally inspired children'??s clothing brand, designed for little citizens of the world '?? has announced new fundraising efforts to supportThe Global Fund For Children (GFC). Tea will auction on eBay its coveted '??Lily'??s Emmy Dress,'? which Modern Family'??s Aubrey Anderson-Emmons unveiled at the 2012 Emmy Awards where all proceeds will be donated to the Global Fund for Children.

Since 1997, the GFC has invested $25 million to over 500 grassroots organizations in 78 countries, helping to transform the lives of more than 7 million of the world'??s most vulnerable children. Tea has collaborated with GFC for over 8 years and has been a philanthropic corporate partner through donations and selling exclusive GFC branded merchandise on teacollection.com.

A few days ago Tea Collection kicked-off an exciting new fundraising effort for the GFC by auctioning off '??Lily'??s Emmy Dress'? on eBay. The original garment worn by Aubrey incorporated style suggestions offered by the actress herself and was personally hand sewn by Tea'??s talented design team. The custom made silk dress was eventually reproduced and briefly sold on Tea'??s website with only 25 limited edition dresses created for consumers.

The auction will be live on eBay until December 16, 2012 and the winner will receive unique Modern Family prizes. Along with the dress, the package will include the Modern Family Season 1, 2, and 3 DVDs, in addition to photos signed by Aubrey and the entire Modern Family show'??s cast.
