Treats and snacking is a part of childhood (and adulthood), but like everything in life - moderation is key. The problem with some snacks is that they are too high in sugar or that they contain allergens like nuts. A new treat option called Skeeter Snacks, a delicious line of high-quality, nut-free cookies, is a great way for anyone to safely enjoy cookies and an occasional, without compromising taste.
Produced using the highest safety standards in facilities that do not process any products containing tree nuts or peanuts, the snack line features a delicious collection of treats that come in three flavors: Chocolate Chunk, Golden Oatmeal and Skeeterdoodle. I loved all three (how can you not with cookies!) but I was particularly smitten with the Chocolate Chunk variety that provided the perfect blend of chocolate that is loaded with real chocolate pieces and baked into a cookie that is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Golden Oatmeal was another delicious treat complete with raisins while the Skeeterdoodle was a subtle treat that was packed with cinnamon.
The beauty of these snacks (despite their taste) is that kids and adults with allergies can eat them without having to worry about any nuts or tree plants being in the food. Happy snacking for everyone!
