I am a big fan of snacking. Whether it's having nibbles while on-the-go or stashing snacks for my daughter, snacking is a great way to combat that mid-afternoon slump and retain much-needed nutrients to get you through your day. One of my favorite snack options is Triscuit crackers - complete with their delicious woven whole wheat goodness. This crunchy and hearty snack is a fantastic way to get some hearty whole grains and fiber. Recently, Triscuit launched another crunchy snack with their Dill, Sea Salt and Olive Oil cracker - a first new addition to their cracker line since 2008.
While testing out this cracker, I loved the rich dill flavor that was complimented nicely with the sea salt and delicious addition of olive oil. I also tried them with some toppings like smoked salmon and cream cheese, cucumber slices and tomato (separately) that made for a delicious and filing snack.
Not just about snacking, Triscuit also supports teaching people how to grow and enjoy their own food at home. Their interactive Home Farming is a fantastic place to learn how to grow your own vegetables at home through online resources where you can plan and chart your progress. Through the site you can also ask questions about home farming and check out some recipes on how to cook with your very own home vegetables.
