Are you ready for pastels? While attending the Smashbox Be DiscoveredSpring 2012 Preview at Hudson Studios, I discovered that spring is going to be all about color and that means a lot of pastels. We have seen them on the runways and the red carpet. Now it is our turn to show them off.
Smashbox founder, Davis Factor and Leading Makeup artist, Lori Taylor shared all the latest trends for the spring. Be Discovered is a spring color collection featuring stunning handpicked hues with fresh shades for every skin tone. One trend is the color tangerine. This is not the orangey color that we remember our grandmothers wearing. This is a gentler orange that can work for all skin types. Don't be afraid of it to add warmth. The Be Discovered line has new packaging. The makeup texture is different. The lipstick formula is different making it longer lasting and as Davis pointed out, "It tastes better too."

Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream is a huge hit in China and now is available in the U.S. at Sephora stores and Sephora.com. Starting April 1, it will be available at all Smashbox retailers. Don't confuse it with a tinted moisturizer. It is so much more than that. It primes, evens out skin, hydrates, protects with an SPF of 35 and controls oil. It comes in five different shades.
