I never thought I would have a picky eater. When I was a baby, I ate octopus. But, my two-year-old lives on chicken nuggets and fish sticks. My four-year-old isn't much better. Okay, I know it's partially my fault. If I didn't serve them so many chicken nuggets (the white meat kind, of course!), maybe they wouldn't be so afraid of regular chicken. So, I'm attempting to cook foods that will help them venture away from the nugget.
This school bus, stainless steel plate is a brilliant way to teach my kids and remind myself about thefive different food groups. Those gaping holes just call out to be filled with different flavors! The bus design is playful and fun and my two-year-old appreciates the familiar shape, even if the food on the plate isn't familiar. And if she doesn't like what I serve, which happens a lot, and flings the plate on the floor, which also happens, the plate is very durable. Stainless steel: you can't break it!
The Din Din Smart Stainless Divided Plate is made with highest quality food grade stainless steel and is BPA, Phthalate and lead free. Of course, it's dishwasher safe, too. You can purchase the plate at innobaby for $17.99 or a pack of two plates for $30. Or buy on Amazon.
