One Essential Ombre Dress

With this being the second to last travel column (June is travel month here at Momtrends), I knew I had to pick one item that's cute, easy to pack and can work for day or night.

Minnie Mortimer, known for her wonderfully fitted (and cozy) shirts, button downs and casual dresses, has perfected this ombre dress. It's ridiculously comfortable (thanks to the cotton/spandex mix) and feels likes you're wearing a t-shirt. It clings to all the right places and creates a slimming silhouette. The price is right too, retailing at Scoop (and for $130.

This dress will endure long car rides and can be rolled or folded to become extremely compact. I'm traveling to Chicago this weekend and I plan on wearing it with my patent leather YSL wedges (pictured). No jewelry needed - just a statement dress that speaks volumes.
