We were quite excited to get the chance to try two of Van's Natural Foods new products. School mornings are busy for our family, but I want to make sure the kids still have a healthy and filling breakfast.
Muffin Crowns are available in two flavors, Triple Chocolate and Wild Blueberry, and are made with 7 grams of whole grains, 6 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein per serving, all while only being 120 calories or less, per muffin. The muffins can be toasted or simply thawed for serving. Waffle Sticks are available in chocolate and vanilla flavors, and are 70 calories per serving. The waffles are sized perfectly for kids' hands and for on-the-go eating - not to mention that they are a tasty treat that satisfies a sweet tooth.
My two little taste testers were happy to help with this project and loved everything they tried, with one vote for chocolate and one vote for vanilla waffles, served with real maple syrup of course! We also loved the muffin crowns, served with yogurt for a quick and easy breakfast.
Van's products are available in most groceries, in the frozen foods department. Visit their website to use the store locator to find a store near you.
