As moms we aren'??t given a reward for doing a tireless job of raising our kids, managing the house, the budget, our jobs, our attempt at a social life and our occasional volunteer work. Well, all of those feats certainly deserve an award and now you can give supermoms the recognition they deserve by nominating an awe-inspiring mother for the 2012 National Mother of the Year award.

Sponsored by American Mothers, Inc., a national non-profit, this inspirational award is looking to honor and celebrate seemingly ordinary moms doing extraordinary things.

Nominations are also being accepted for a new Mother of Achievement Award. This will be given to a mother who has given service, talent and support to her children or other members in her community.
