My daughter is in a stage where she is obsessed with her long hair but she hates to have it combed, brush or washed. She is almost 4-years-old so this presents some challenges when knots inevitability appear. To try to combat the battle and tame her hair I have been using a new chemical-free product called Cara B Naturally.
Specifically designed for ethnic babies and children, the Cara B line features all-natural ingredients with no chemicals or synthetic ingredients. This also includes no parabens, petrolatum, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, artificial fragrances and preservatives. As a natural mom in training, I loved reading their minimal list of ingredients including their Shampoo/Body Wash that contains coconut oil, natural chamomile and vitamin E and their Leave-in-Conditioner with Jojoba oil and shea butter.
I was able to test out both of these products on my daughter and I instantly fell in love with how soft and manageable it made her hair. I first used the shampoo/body wash, which was a gentle and non-drying blend that soothed her sensitive skin as well as cleaned her hair. I love the two-in-one combo to not only save time but also how effective it was to treat, moisturize and clean. I even used it on my hair and found that the it was tough enough to handle my 'mature' and thick hair as well. The leave-in-conditioner was another favorite since I am constantly looking for a product that is gentle but will also treat her tangles. The blend of vitamin E, sugar soap and shea butter left her hair super soft while also conditioning and moisturizing it. I also loved that both products didn't contain any extra oils or grease to weight down her hair .
As an all-natural product line, Cara B Naturally also features soaps, a body lotion and hair mist for all of our kids' sensitive skin and natural skin care needs.
