I'm packed and ready for Miami. Tomorrow I head out to the Mom Summit 2.0 on behalf of PepsiCo WIN. My schedule is packed and I'm looking forward to connecting with my peers and getting inspired by the awesomeness around me.
This year, Mom 2.0 will bring together 450 influential bloggers and women entrepreneurs in food, parenting, entertainment, politics, technology, social change, business, travel, design, and home. After 7 years of blogging and 5 years of the steering Momtrends towards where it is today, I'm looking forward to getting my blog batteries re-charged and getting inspired. Plus, I really want to share the trends that I spot at this event. These women are the movers and shakers in the industry and as a digital correspondent for PepsiCO WIN, you can count on me to share the news.
The three-day summit features web luminaries. I'm honored to be on a panel with Gabrielle Blair and Karen Walrond. The Friday panel will be moderated by my good friend Jessica Shyba. Our topic:
Setting your course in what'??s next: How do you even do that?
Over the last few years, a lot of us have seen a lot of changes take place in our industry and in our lives. This panel will discuss specific ways to uncover, discover, and recognize which direction the next right path is leading you'?¦personally, professionally, and philanthropically.
I'm going to share some ideas on how to steer your professional path. I want to help women create vibrant and rewarding businesses. We've got powerful brands of our own and I'm on a mission to help all of us shine a little brighter. I'm glad to have my panel early on Friday--then I focus on taking notes and getting quotes!
And yes, I spent quite a bit of time packing. There's quite a bit of socializing to be done. From big swank parties (hello, Versace Mansion!) to small intimate pow-wows, this is the conference where big things happen and small ideas take root and grow. Since we're making history, I thought I should bring some fabulous clothes!
I hope you'll keep reading and following my tweets over the next few days as I share the experiences.
This trip and the posts are sponsored by Pepsi WIN.
