Momtrends had the honor of celebrating the launch of The Super Adventures of Sophie and The City: Grand Central Escapades, a children'??s book by Kelly Florio Kasouf, along with the debut of her jewelry collaboration with Lulu Frost last week at Barneys New York Madison Avenue. The event was hosted by Barneys & ElizabethStreet, along with June Ambrose and Tracy Anderson.
The Super Adventures of Sophie and the City: Grand Central Escapades, the second title in Kelly Florio Kasouf'??s '??Sophie'? series. Grand Central Escapades follows Sophie on another magical adventure in New York City. On her very first trip to Grand Central Station, Sophie meets Henry, a paperboy who takes her on a magical train ride back to the 1920s. From flappers to jazz musicians to fashion designers like Lanvin and Dior, Sophie learns what life was real like during this era. The book is simply adorable and both my kids have enjoyed Ms Kasouf's amazing "fashion" driven series.
And I am just so estatic about her new collaboration withLulu Frost, which features a Cameo Necklace for little girls with collectable charms. This unique piece is so perfect for little ones because they will feel as if they are wearing their mommy's jewelry. The additional charms adding personalization, come in packages of three. I had the chance to speak with Lulu, and she said she was just so inspired by the "Sophie" books and illustrations, her collection was a perfect fit.
If you are looking for the perfect holiday gift this year for a little girl, this is a must! The cameo necklace and charms are sold exclusively at Barneys New York and retail $78 for necklace and $45 additional charms.
