Learning How to Pack and Live Lightly with DVF

Have you made your holiday travel plans yet? Kids and traveling take on a whole new meaning as you have to pack their belongings and make sure you bring all of your essentials without overpacking. Designer Diane von Furstenberg knows a few things about packing and traveling, stating "I have been a nomad all my life, and I created this luggage for how I like to pack. The result is the perfect travel companion." She talks about her love of travel in a new video called "The Bearable Lightness of Packing" (see below) where she shares her tips for how to pack lighting, which also reflects living lightly.

A simple concept but one that speaks volumes where she states, "Travel is a symbol of life and traveling is living." Adding, '??If you figure out your suitcase, you figure out your life.'?

In addition to her refreshing take on travel, von Furstenberg also has a new luggage line calledDVF On the Go featuring a group of individually sold pieces engineered to work together or independently. This includes Rolling Upright options, a Rolling Box Bag and a Medium Box Bag that are complemented by smaller companion pieces that work like personal bureau drawers to keep your items organized. A 2-Compartment Organizer works inside larger pieces, or stands alone, while accessories include a Carry All Tote, a Train Case and a Travel Beauty Case.

The chic, sophisticated and versatile pieces can be combined in countless combinations and they are available in the in Orange/Cream or Black/White.

The On the Go collection is available at Bloomingdale'??s, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and on DVF.COM.
