It has been one hot summer! Since I have a new baby and I can'??t protect her with sunscreen (it isn't recommended until a baby is 6 months old), I am have been very diligent about keeping her protected from the sun'??s harsh rays. One way I have been keeping her covered is with Universal Palm Stroller Sun Shade from iCandy, an award-winning UK-based stroller company.

On a recent excursion with my baby, I attached the Universal Palm Stroller Sun Shade to my stroller and set off on some errands. I loved how the lightweight fabric was so easy to place over the stroller as well as how simple it was for it to secure on the bottom with its security strap. On this particular hot day, I also loved that the fabric from the Universal Palm Stroller Sun Shade is designed to block up to 99% of UV rays while also circulating air and preventing overheating thanks to its flexible mesh band.

In addition to providing protection from the sun and covering my daughter'??s head, neck, shoulders and legs, the dark cover was ideal for napping where my daughter slept soundly for a few hours. I also liked that the front section of the sun shade was removable, which was a nice feature for when I travel with my toddler '?? enabling for access where the large canopy can be used independently.

The iCandy also comes in a chic tote '?? making it great for traveling or on-the-go activities. The Universal Palm Stroller Sun Shade can also be fit on all iCandy strollers and most other stroller models '?? (I used it on a snap and go and an umbrella stroller).

Protection from the sun is key when you have small children. Sun creams, hats and protective clothing are an important defense against the sun but being that babies and toddlers spent most of their time in strollers is its key to have an extra form of protection with a cover like the Universal Palm Stroller Sun Shade from iCandy. Buy on Amazon $34.99.
