Look out Annie Leibowitz, once again, these fashion photos were taken by my 7 year-old. She's got a good eye. I headed to our roof deck last night to shoot a few new things I picked up at a NYC Gift Giving Suite.
The editorial event was put on by DBA a digital talent agency that I've worked with on and off over the past two years. They gathered a bunch of great fashion finds to inspire editors for the holidays.
There were about 20 brands there to drool over. Since I love casual tops that are anything but boring, I gravitated to this Kelly Wearstler Debbie Abstract Tee ($195). You can find a similar tank at Nordstrom ($125). The cotton is ridiculously soft and the subtle gold pattern is festive. Check out the arm detail! A little flash of skin looks so cool.
What about the bracelet? It's Giles & Brother and combines leather and metal--very trendy, very chic. I also picked it up at the editor's event.
1. Detail of the scarf by Bindya NYC
2. My default hairstyle on the weekends--updated pony tail
3. Strutting in the jeans
4. Close-up of the bracelet
And here are some additional details of items already living in my closet: Bindya scarves can be found at Saks.com the jeans are by Denizen(a Levi's brand made especially for Target--everything is $30 or under!), the boots are last year's Hush Puppies. Buy it at ShopBop ($98).
Now I hope you'll join in the fun. Each week I team up with Jill fromGlamamom.comand Kristin from BonBonRoseGirls.com to talk fashion and style. This week Kristis is hosting. be sure to stop by and link up.
Momtrends was not paid for this post. Many of the items I am wearing were gifted.
