Are you looking for a unique toy that also gives back to children in need this holiday season? Once Upon a TreeHouse makes handmade dolls and wooden dollhouses that would be perfect for girls of all ages. My favorite part of the company is that when you purchase a doll for that special little girl in your life, she becomes a Fairy DollMother (and yes, she even gets a fairy wand to fit the part!). That means that for any doll purchased, a soft baby doll will be donated to a girl in need!

Created by two sisters (who are also moms), the company's mission is to create handmade and interactive toys for parents and grandparents that provide enriching experiences for kids. This includes products that are eco-friendly and those that are made with real wood, cotton and wool. In addition to being classic toys that promote playtime, Once Upon a TreeHouse also offers an interactive component with videos, printable storybooks and creative crafts for hours of creative play.

Once Upon a TreeHouse offers two dollhouse options: a three story traditional design with a spiral staircase and a smaller multi-sided options. They are crafted with maple wood and durable paints.

Dolls such as this angelic Buttercup the Ballerina allow kids to practice her ballet positions on her barre. While playing with your Buttercup doll, you can download a book and use your doll to reenact the story. Watch a Buttercup video and print templates for a ballet crown, recital invitations, and/or a ballet stage to use as a backdrop while putting on a performance. When you join The Clubhouse, it enables you to have access to all the cutout necessities that you will need to have the best dance performance ever.

Also, for the holiday season the company will be donated one doll to a child in need for every doll sold through their new partnership with Kids In Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S)
