A few weeks ago Sherri and I worked as ambassadors for GoGoSqueeZ spreading the word about their healthy and delicious squeezable applesauce. As a part of the GoGoSqueeZ initiative, the company promotes GoGo Time or a enjoying good active fun everyday. I recently enjoyed some good quality GoGo Time with my two girls at their BBQ that focused on fun, food and games and of course healthy snacking.

Held in Lower Manhattan, this fun and interactive event involved various stations where kids could run around, create crafts like wallets and bows from GoGoSqueeZ containers, play in a pool and even bob for apples. The event also included a delicious selection of BBQ fare, a healthy fruit salad and sampling of our favorite on-the-go treat, GoGoSqueeZ applesauce.

As I watched my daughter daughter run around and have a blast, I really appreciated this event that focused on family time, healthy eating and active play. The company also believes that this is an ideal way to look at the world where kids can enjoy simple and unstructured play to foster learning, imagination and excitement.

As an on-going initiative, GoGoSqueeZ invites families to join them in playtime as well as celebrateNickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play on September 25th and National Walk to School Day on September 28th!

Here are some of their suggestions for kids of all ages to enjoy active fun and the outdoors this fall!
