I've always been a huge fan of giving books as gifts. I feel that they last longer than toys as well being a great way to bond with my daughter where we curl up together and read before her bedtime. With the holidays only two (gulp) days away, we discovered some creative and fun offerings from Disney Publishing Worldwide that are sure to be perfect for any kid on your holiday list.

Disney It'??s A Small World Feed Our Small World: A CookBook for Kids:
I love cooking with my daughter and recently it has been one of her most requested activities where we mix, measure, and in general, make a mess. I loved exploring recipes with her in this fun and colorful book that includes simple instructions and cooking tips through a tasty tour around the world. Some favorites included C'est Magnifique Quiche, Zesty Peanut Soup, Streusel-rific Coffee Cake, Caliente Veggie Quesadilla and Island Breeze Ginger Cakes. I also personally loved the interesting facts about each country that is included throughout the book.

A Magical Christmas:
This fun oversized book features beloved Disney characters like Belle, Minnie, Mickey and Goofy where young readers can enjoy pictures of the snow, Christmas trees and presents in a lenticular (illusion of depth) storyboard.

Don'??t Let the Pigeon Run this App!
Alicia Harper reported all about this app a few months and I also have been loving using the Don'??t Let the Pigeon Run This App! with my daughter where we create our very own silly stories, read stories and draw. Fun for kids who love the classic tale by Mo Willems.
