Friday Finds: Holiday Cookies

Tis' the season, and with all of the tree trimming and holiday shopping I have also been thinking about holiday baking - specifically cookies. While I have my chocolate-chip cookie recipe down I love to test out new recipes for the holidays, I am looking for some new ideas for the holidays and here are a few tasty recipes that I found this week.

1. Shari of My Judy the Foodie shared a delicious recipe for a Scottish Shortbread cookie that essentially includes sugar, flour and butter. I can't wait to test out this simple recipe and pass them along to friends and family members over the holidays.

2. A classic for the holidays, Jenny of Everyday Occasions shared a recipe for Ginger Spice Cookies that is based off of the Barefoot Contessa's Ultimate Ginger Cookie recipe - with some tweaks.
