I've mentioned before that I am someone who never wanted to spend a fortune on my maternity wardrobe when I found out I was pregnant. A lot of maternity clothes limit you to only wearing them for a short amount of time, and I cannot rationalize spending a lot of money on something that I can't get a lot of use out of. Fortunately, there are many companies out there that feel the same way I do and have made maternity shopping easy, stylish, and affordable!
Fashion Forward Maternity is a site that fashionable expectant moms can rent high quality, stylish, and designer maternity fashions at a fraction of the price.
The company is not only helping moms-to-be save on their maternity wardrobe, they are also very charitable. When the gently used maternity clothes are no longer able to be rented, they donate all the clothes to women's organizations around the country.
The online store features everything you need to get you through all three trimesters and nursing. I had so much fun shopping online throughout all of their looks. The process was very simple and like most online shops. You find what you want, order your size, and it's shipped to your door. Only these clothes are a fraction of the cost and I get to send them back once my belly outgrows them.
Fashion Forward Maternity was started by three moms who faced the difficulties many moms have trying to remain stylish during pregnancy, without spending an incredible amount of money. Once they realized the problem was one that most women faced, they saw it as an opportunity to help moms to be in need and Fashion Forward Maternity was born.
There are two ways to rent and save from Fashion Forward Maternity. You can buy a monthly subscription for $125 a month plus $12.95 per item for the month or you can pay $23.50 per items for the month without the monthly subscription. You then enjoy your items and return them with free shipping after the month is over and begin shopping again for something else to add to your pregnancy wardrobe!
The items I ordered came within a matter of days and were wrapped up looking like new when I opened the box.
I know some women might find it a bit troublesome to wear previously worn clothes, but all of the clothes I received still had the tags on them and didn't look like they had been worn at all.
I love this Seraphine Amira Knitted Cape. This cape retails for $147 but with a Fashion Forward Maternity subscription you can rent it for $12.50 per month.

The Angelina Skinny Grey Luxe Jeans are also by Seraphine and were $12.50 as well. Retail price for these amazing jeans is over $110!
Both pieces were super comfortable and I loved the way they looked together. The cape had enough room to accommodate my belly that seems to be growing by the day!
The last piece I received was the Blue Drape Front Tunic by Crave. This retails for over $90 and was on $12.50 with a subscription. I love the way this looks with a pair of black leggings and black boots!
As with many online clothes shopping, it's hard to tell if the items will actually fit once you get them home. Fashion Forward Maternity has a great policy that allows you to return the item to them if it doesn't fit quite the way you hoped it would.
If you are looking for a fashionable solution for your maternity clothes, check out Fashion Forward Maternity.
