Educational Programs at Macy'??s



Not only is Macy'??s the ultimate shopping destination this fall with new brands like the Material Girl collection, Charmed by Maidenform and Jessica Simpson'??s Junior Sportswear, the company is also offering fun family-oriented activities like their Sixth Annual Spelling Bee where kids have been flexing their A, B, C'??s to compete in a grand finale at Macy'??s Herald Square.

The Spelling Bees has taken place in 29 cities since August 13th where each regional champ has been taking home great prizes including a year of online learning from Kaplan Smart Track and gift cards from Scholastic. The grand finale, taking place on September 24h will allow one spelling master the chance to win a family vacation to California including round trip air travel, hotel accommodations and more! The grand prize winner will also receive a $5,000 Kaplan Tutoring Scholarship and a $500 Scholastic online gift card.

Macy'??s also has an incredible partnership with, an organization that helps young people care and get involved with volunteering in their communities. The organization is even trying to activate two million young people to service work this year. Since August 8th, Macy'??s has been asking consumers to spread the word, by joining the "Raise your thumb. Rock your cause'? campaign.
