Diane von Furstenberg for Gap Kids
Diane von Furstenberg, the iconic fashion designer renowned for her wrap dresses, recently teamed up with Gap Kids for a collection of clothing for girls that is "timeless, colourful and effortless." This translates into magical dresses that capture Diane's signature silhouettes and prints that aspire to Mommy's style while still being playful and fun.
To celebrate the launch, celebrity moms like Milla Jovovich, Busy Phillips, Alyson Hannigan, Jessica Capshaw, and Tiffani Thiessen (among others), joined Diane von Furstenberg at Gap at The Grove for the world premiere of the highly anticipated GapKids + DVF collection. During the event guests and their children enjoyed an array of fun activities including balloon art, paper doll crafts and a special runway built for children to strut their stuff and have their photo taken on the catwalk.
Launching in the U.S. and Canada on March 15, DVF spoke about the line stating, "The core of the line is about the brand (the Gap) as well as taking prints and making them fun." We love the bold colors and fun floral prints that really captures the free spirit of little girls. DVF added, "The collection is all about celebrating life and celebrating color."
