Although it has been said over and again the mantra "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" bears repeating. This especially rings true since 1 in 5 children live in homes where breakfast is hard to come by. To help children in need, Kellogg's has created their Share Your Breakfast program and established National Breakfast Week (March 4-10) to get people to understand this issue and start a movement to combat hunger.
Through the Share Your Breakfast'? campaign, Kellogg's and Action for Healthy Kids want to share 1 million school breakfasts with children in need and we can all help them meet this goal! Go to http://www.kelloggs.com/en_US/share-your-breakfast.html and type in what you had for breakfast (it literally takes 2 seconds). For each breakfast you share, Kellogg's will help share a breakfast with a child who needs it. Now, that's the power of breakfast and eating right in action.
More ways to get involved with this cause:
- Share a description of your breakfast on www.facebook.com/Kelloggs
- Share a description of your breakfast via Twitter with the #ShareUrBreakfast hashtag
- Purchase a Family Deal on LivingSocial '?? for every Family Deal purchased during National Breakfast Week, users will get a free breakfast on Kellogg'??s, plus a breakfast will be donated to a child in need.
