Instilling a love of reading is one of our top priorities and on October 6thRead for the Recordis asking millions of people around the world to read Llama Llama Red Pajama, aspart of Jumpstart'??s world reading campaign.

This year, Jumpstart, a national education organization, is looking to set a new world record with 2.1 million readers. In the past, celebrities like Bill Cosby, Justin Bieber, Vince Vaughn, Patti Labelle, Matt Lauer, representatives from Capitol Hill, parents, teachers, children and volunteers all helped to in this campaign to focus on reading, literacy and achievement.

To get involved all your have to do is to pledge to read to your child which in turn will support preschool children from low-income communities '?? many of which don'??t have any books at home. Simply pledge to read at www.readfortherecord.org before September 19, and you will be also entered to win a $77 gift card to 77Kids by American Eagle.
