Best Boots for the Fall

The arrival of fall coincides with a couple of key additions to my wardrobe - scarves, cozy sweaters, tights and most importantly, boots. I do love me some boots. Big boots to be specific. I've seen the "shooties" and I just can't get on board - yet. In the meantime, I've been drooling over a number of the new fall footwear options on Pinterest and Polyvore the last few weeks, and have been putting together my dream closet. Care to join me for a peek at the latest boot trends and my imaginary shoe stash?

Over-The-Knee Boot
Whether you want comfort (flats), style (wedge) or sex appeal (stiletto), there's something about the over-the-knee style that takes a boot from "ho-hum" to "hey there!" Plus, many of the styles allow you to fold over the top for an under-the-knee fit if it works better with your outfit or mood. Two looks, one boot, great deal.

Notice-Me Hardware
Buckles, laces, straps and more. Boots this season are all wrapped up in notice-me hardware.

Riding Boots
Year in and year out, a good pair of riding boots never seems to go out of style. From rugged to polished, flat to heeled, there'??s bound to be a boot to fit your style.

Colorful Boots
There'??s something I admire about the person that can pull off these colorful boots packed with bright red and purple tons. Unfortunately, I have an innate fear of color, so I think I'll stick with my brown, black and grey and leave these soles to a braver soul.
