Thanks to Halloween there is candy all over my house. I went to hide some from my husband and found out that my usual hiding spot was full of candy he was hiding from me. Note to self: get new hiding place. You name it, we got it'??Dots, Tootsie Rolls, Laffy Taffy, M&MS (not the kind with peanuts though, I ate all those).

So when Bed Head's new product line arrived at my house, I didn'??t even notice. With the bright swirls of pink, green, yellow, blue and purple, the recently launched Candy Fixations products fit right in among the random confections. When I finally realized these weren'??t a yummy treat, I was intrigued. Turns out they are a yummy treat'?¦except these are treats for your hair.

The product line by TGI includes cute names like Sugar Dust (a genius root powder that gives your roots a sugar high for more volume, while also absorbing oil), Sugar Shock Hair Bodifying Spray, Totally Baked Hair Meringue, Glaze Haze Semi-Sweet Smoothing Serum and Mega Whip Whipped Marshmellow Hair Texturizer. The Mega Whip is cute because the little container is shaped like something you might see on top of an ice cream dessert.

These hair styling products are pretty sweet. The Mega Whip is my husband'??s favorite, although he questioned its manliness when someone asked him at work if he was eating a lollipop. Oops. Turns out the scents are pretty serious business...but in a good way. I love the Sugar Dust, since hair powders are amazing for busy women who have zero time to make the hair don'??t a hair do.

The thing best about this line. You can indulge with zero guilt. The M&MS? Not so much.

Candy Fixations products are $15.95 each and are available at salons, so check out bedhead.com for a list.

Ah, the holiday season and the time of limited edition holiday gift sets.

I typically float right by holiday gift sets because they'??re usually just that'?¦holiday looking. So when I saw the Shoshanna for AHAVA Gift Set, I giggled with happiness. Finally, something that came out around the holidays that doesn'??t have a snowflake on it or a sprig of mistletoe or two elves kissing under the mistletoe while it'??s snowing.

This is a really cute travel case in a trés chic purple and pink animal print (thank you for not using red, green and white). I wouldn'??t have expected anything less from Shoshanna since I'??ve been coveting her dresses for years now. The case boasts an exterior pocket for your gotta-get-quick items, while the interior has two large zippered compartments for everything else.

Then I giggled again'?¦it might have been followed by tears of joy'?¦when I saw that within the bag were three products, one of which is my all-time favorite hand cream. The AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream is divine. I will say no more. Also, in the bag is the Mineral Body Lotion and the Dermud Enriched Foot Cream. All of these products are the results of AHAVA'??s harvesting and forumating the rich natural resources of the Dead Sea, a mystical region located at the bottom of the world. It provides one of the world's highest concentrations of minerals suitable for skin-related healthcare.

Sorry, elves. Take your PDA elsewhere. I'??ve found a better gift to give.

Shoshanna for AHAVA Gift Set is available at ahavaus.com for $35.

If Coco Chanel knew me, instead of her famous line regarding over-accessorizing, she would have said, '??Cheryl, look in the mirror before you leave and take one hair elastic off of your arm.'?

My hair goes up and down and up and down the entire day. I'??m usually good at committing (I got married, I have a kid, I have three tattoos), but I can'??t seem to make a decision (and keep it) on the status of my hair. Therefore, along with bangle bracelets is usually one hair thing. Tacky, I know.

Someone at Goody heard my silent cry for help. As a form of intervention, whether they were savvy or not, they recently launched the new DoubleWear Hair Collection. These products are ingenious, and I wish I had invented them. It'??s a hair accessory and jewelry in one. Can I get an '??amen'??

Although DoubleWear is a headwrap that doubles as a necklace, I'??m über-interested in the ponytail holders that become bracelets. These sleek hair holders have a unique design that blends an elastic with an on-trend bracelet. They have the same keep-in-place strength of other Goody elastics, but when I put them on my wrist, they actually fit right in with some of my bangles. It'??s the metallic band part that really makes them blend, and they'??re available in gold and silver.

So I can be chic and still remain uncertain'??to ponytail or not to ponytail. But now I have a new issue'??gold or silver?

The Goody DoubleWear 2in1Ponytailers and Headwraps are both available for $5.99 each at Target and Walgreens.
