Lunch doesn't seem complete without a snack (or two). For my growing daughter I always add in something a little extra in addition to her classic PB&J. Usually I stick with fruit, but I also love products that are portable, and not as messy (berries all over a lunchbox, anyone?). Sun-Maid and their delicious line of products is perfect option when I am seeking a healthy snack as well as one that is easy to carry around.
Founded in 1912, the company has been renowned for "providing premium quality raisins and dried fruits from the farms of California to homes and eating establishments around the world," as stated on their website. From their classic raisins to exciting products like Bits Apples, Zante Currants, Apricots Prunes, and Covered Raisins for the occasional treat - they really offer something for everyone. The beauty of their classic line is that they "get" parents. Not only offering a traditional bag, they also offer raisins in a 15oz Box, a 6-Pack, as a Mini-Snack, and in a 24oz carton so that you can have them for any situation.
They are also a nutritional powerhouse that are packed with antioxidants to ward off free radicals, and certain diseases and can be wonderful to have around the house for delicious oatmeal cookies or enhancing a bland salad with something a little sweet.
