TwitterMoms and Momtrends are teaming up with Oprah and her team at Harpo Productions, Inc. to support Oprah's No Phone Zone initiative. We will "meet up" on Twitter to tweet our pledge and support for No Phone Zone--an end to distracted driving--and encourage our followers to do the same.
Here's how it works... On Friday, April 30 from 8:00 pm EST to 10:00 EST, we will meet on Twitter for a Twitter party. We'll chat and meet tons of other great moms while we support the No Phone Zone cause.
Oprah is taking a stand against distracted driving. She's launching a new public service announcement campaign and joining forces with some of the country's preeminent transportation safety organizations to declare Friday, April 30 the first national "No Phone Zone Day." A large-scale effort to honor victims of distracted driving and end the deadly driving habits that kill nearly 6,000 Americans a year. Visit Oprah.com/nophonezone to learn more.
