Every year, the Momtrends team hits the road for a three-day intensive summit. We use this time to reconnect, get to know each other outside of the office, brainstorm new ideas, collaborate and work toward making our brand even stronger. Woodloch Resort, the perfect getaway destination, was home to our 2017 summit.
Woodloch Resort holds a special place in my heart because it was the first place that we traveled to as a family of five. The moment you drive toward the picturesque property, you know you are in for a relaxing, peaceful, and fun adventure. Woodloch's accommodations are so varied, that no matter what type of getaway you plan, it will not disappoint. Woodloch Resort is the perfect getaway destination for so many reasons, and that's why it has us coming back time and time again.
I enjoyed my stay as a child, a parent and now as a professional. I have always felt that my needs were met, my stays were rejuvenating, and that I would want to return again. There is just something special that makes Woodloch Resort the perfect getaway destination.
This stay was all about connecting as professional women. We stayed in the beautiful Tallwoods Guest Homes just down the path from the Main Woodloch Resort buildings. The Tallwoods Guest Homes are equipped with three large bedrooms (each with their own en suite!) as well as a pull-out couch for additional sleeping accommodations.
The kitchen was equipped with everything we could need and the screened-in porch added a refreshing spot to work sans bugs. The fireplace and high ceilings complemented each other and added an airy and spacious feel, while keeping it cozy. The decor was rustic yet modern with details that preserved the feeling of nature yet weren't too "woodsy".
From the Tallwoods guest homes it was an easy walk to the main dining area, but the availability of shuttles makes getting around the property a breeze. The staff is so genuine and friendly, and they make every effort to make your stay at Woodloch memorable and pleasant.

The team at Woodloch is in the business of service with a smile. They seem sincerely happy to help and go out of their way to make your time at Woodloch Resort a good one.
As a team, we took a break from the hard work and headed to enjoy a few of the numerous activities. The best part of Woodloch Resort is you can do as much or as little as you choose. You can do planned or unplanned activities both in and outdoors.
There are plenty of things to do for every age, fitness level, or interest. We took advantage of the gorgeous weather and hiked through the beautiful, wooded property. We also went go-cart riding, took a paddle boat ride on the lake, and thoroughly enjoyed the luxurious spa.
Woodloch is the perfect getaway destination whether it be for a family reunion (we saw several!), a special birthday, a work summit, girls' retreat, couples'' weekend, or even a wedding (we spotted two!). Woodloch Resort has everything you need without being overly stimulating, crowded or bustling.
Not only is the landscape gorgeous, no matter what the season, the size of the property allows for you to feel tucked away, at a peace, calmer, more focused, and energized. It was exactly what the team needed to have a productive work summit.
