Travel Chic
Staying chic while traveling light isn't easy. We were on the road this month for 3 weeks for a trip to four countries in Asia. Along the way I traveled light--saving enough room for a few purchases.
While in Malaysia, we stopped by a mall and found a cute outlet called F.O.A. We picked up tones of cute cotton pieces at steep discounts, like this top and tee shirt. Total cost? About $35.
I love buying a new outfit on the road and being able to wear it right away. By the 21st day of travel, I was pretty sick of everything in my bag and loved getting to slip on a new outfit.
I brought the essential gold gladiator sandals along. They are super for walking but no so ideal for airport security (two buckles). Believe it or not, my 7 yo snapped these photos. Pretty talented isn't she!

Now onto the bag. While in Singapore I got a fun tweet from a bag company called Tribe. The lovely owner offered to send a bag to my hotel. Don't you love the power of twitter. She sent the practical and pretty Changi Travel Wallet (about $155 converted to USD).
I picked the Grass Green color and took it out for a spin in Japan while the girls and I went to the Imperial Palace grounds. The embossed leather wallet comes in an assortment of colors and includes a detachable wristlet.
While we were out touring I was able to stuff 3 passports in it plus all my yen and other important bits needed for a day of travel and then a trip to Narita Airport. The Changi Travel Wallet can be a clutch or a wallet to toss in your carry on bag. The chic versatility suited my style.
The entire outfit is about comfort and ease. While I travel I want to feel pulled together but not fussy. This fun cotton separates and cute accessories totally suit my style. Now what about you? Did you travel this month? Did you buy anything new?
