We are loving this exciting event in upstate New York! Bike New York, which produces the TD Five Boro Bike Tour, will bring its annual Discover Hudson Valley Ride back to the Hudson Valley region for its fourth year. The Discover Hudson Valley Ride, rich with history and breathtaking panoramic views of the area, is the perfect follow-up for those eager to get back on their bikes after this past Mays overwhelmingly successful Bike Tour.
For the first time, Discover Hudson Valley Riders will have the option to challenge themselves with a noncompetitive time trial along the 30, 50, 75 and 100 mile routes. The time trial is available along designated sections of each of these routes at no additional cost! The time trial will begin at Gretna Hill Rd. as riders climb 136 feet over a distance of 1.4 miles.
Bike New York will offer five route options, each one packed with stunning scenery. Popular sites include the Rhinebeck mansions, Hyde Park, and the picturesque Walkway Over the Hudson. The ride starts and finishes at Waryas Park, where Bike New York will host a post-ride Festival at Dutchess Community College, complete with locally produced refreshments, live entertainment, and tons of activities.
