I was drawn to Babo Botanicals after reading about the founding mom and her mission to give her children the best skincare. Kate Solomon, worked at some of the biggest beauty companies around (L'Oreal, Parfums Givenchy and Avon) and ditched it all to launch Babo Botanicals. Always a fan of the little guy, I requested samples of this brand to test.
The products are made on a certified organic farm in Upstate NY. Sounds idyllic doesn't it? Kate tends to three kids all while building this green beauty business--I like her style. The good news is that the products live up to the idealism of the location and the packaging.

We tested an array of Babo products and want to share our favorite--the leave in conditioner. My girls swim almost every day of the summer. Chlorine, bug spray and sunscreen end up all over those beautiful little heads. This Cucumber Aloe gentle spray-in conditioner leaves their heads silky and soft (no whining when it's time to brush out the locks). Plant-based conditioners help combat UV damage and dryness,
UV Filter Wild Pansey helps resist effects of chlorine, salt and sun. ($16)
We're keen to try the Lice Repel version (there's been an outbreak in Brooklyn). Other Babo products include sun screen, shampoo, soap and body washes. Check out the full collection here www.babobotanicals.com
Momtrends was not paid for this post. We did get samples.
