Smithsonian Magazine's Seventh Annual Museum Day occurs every September. Each year museums in all 50 states open their doors free for attendees who download the Museum Day admission card.

The Museum Day Ticket is available to download at www.smithsonian.com/museumday. Visitors who present the official pass will gain free admission for two people to participating museums and cultural venues. A ticket will gain entry to only one of the participating museums, excluding parking and special events and exhibits. Also, there is only one ticket permitted per household, per email address.
