You may not believe me when I tell you this is a toy house. Yep, it's pint-sized modernist plaything. While you may not want to share this gorgeous toy with your tots, we say go ahead. It might just inspire them to become an architect or at least start looking at buildings and structures in an entirely new way.
The is the world of www.brincadada.com where they bring design enthusiasm to the smallest items. They've crafted houses, furniture and people.
The houses come in two versions: Emerson and Bennett. We love the Bennett (expected to be $500ish) for it's green inspiration. Bennett House is more than just a pretty façade--the townhouse features Solar-powered LED lights and the walls are made of CARB-certified woods and non-toxic, lead-free paints and stains, so it is easy on the environment. Yay. Plus the house has a two-story living room, elevator, roof top pool and glass rail balconies in both the master bedroom and children'??s bedroom. Rock-star living.
The furniture set Classic Contemporary offers furnishings for 7 rooms (living, dining, kitchen, office, bath, master bedroom and children'??s room) and is fashioned from high-quality woods and non-toxic, lead-free stains and paints ($239). Stop your griping, these pieces are sublime and quality is pricey. What I want to know is where do the Brinca Dada designers live and can I plan a playdate?
Momtrends was not paid for this post. We saw these designs at a NYC tradeshow.
