Many of the moms I know are in a wardrobe funk. They have little desire to shop (where are we going?) and aren't really discovering new brands. Lucky for me, things pop on my radar thanks to working as an influencer so long. I'd never heard of Grey State up until a month ago, and now it's my go-to recommendation when moms ask me where to find loungewear that looks cute.
Elevated Loungewear that Looks Cute
Nowadays, you can pretty much wear leggings or pjs 24/7. As long as you can untangle the hair, grab concealer and have a clean top on, you are ready for that zoom conference call. But if you want to get out of your outfit rut, it's as easy as picking up some new loungewear from Grey State.
They call it self care for your wardrobe, and I kind of like that notion. I know I get considerable joy from having an outfit that is pulled together. For some reason, I'm more productive all day long.
My Favorite Loungewear Picks from Grey State
Since I don't want to hang out at home in anything with hard edges, loungewear is the perfect pick. Here are a few of my favorite things from the website
- Lucky Start Sweatshirt: This one I love thanks to the roomy fit (think 1980's slouchy) and the rough bottom hem. Plus on good days, I aspire to be the star my sweatshirt says I am.
- Perri Protective Sweatshirt: Ah, COVID, it's allowed some designers to get REALLY creative. It's a basic tie-dye sweatshirt with a twist. It comes with a removable snood that can be worn down or pulled up over the face as a mask.
- Emmy Top: For those of you in warmer climates, this is all you will need in the winter. This mock turtleneck top is completely cozy, while also looking grown-up.
- Relaxed Sabine Jogger: Though most of us are only connecting via screens, we still need pants. They might as well be soft. These fit the bill perfectly.
Ready to give your look a mini boost this winter? These suggestions should start off your shopping list. They add new goodies to the website all the time, so keep checking in.
