Have you jumped on the off-the-shoulder trend. How about the latest twist? Today I'm talking about how to style the cold-shoulder trend. Yes, they are similar, they both highlight the shoulder, but this one is a little easier to style in the fall, and you don't need a strapless bra!
I think the off-the-shoulder-top trend took off. I saw it all over instagram and it grew on me. But let's be honest, it was a bit high-maintenance. I really don't like having to keep pulling my top up. Fashion can't be fussy.
That's why, when it comes to mom fashion, I think the cold shoulder trend is perfect. It can be dressed up or down and if you want to layer, add on a swingy cardigan or crisp blazer. This top can look completely professional or date-night ready.
I wore it with some new jeans. I'm loving this twist on denim, the Biker Skinny that I found on the Evereve website. Evereve has an amazing denim collection. If you haven't been in their stores, you should try it. The sales team there have excellent ideas.
I got these online. They were one of the top picks from owner Megan Tamte. Megan has great taste, these skinny gray jeans are livening up my wardrobe.
Now, let's talk shoes. You know this is my happy place. I love talking about shoes. The Lea Wedge will become your BFF this fall. It's got a nice heel (to make me almost 5'10! and I can walk in it all day long. Since I already own a bajillion black boots, I got this Sorel boot in navel. I'm pairing navy with black and gray and all my denim.
I adore the easy slip-on entry. I can be ready and out the door in minutes (like a Mom Boss) in this outfit.
