PepsiCO WIN Picks National Correspondents


I've got big news from PepsiCo WIN! I'm thrilled to share that I will be a 2012 digital correspondent for PepsiCo WIN ( an online interactive network offering global female perspective and idea sharing from leaders, innovators and a community of women around the world.

Today PepsiCO WIN announced the three women as national correspondents who will go behind-the-scenes at key digital PepsiCo-sponsored events in 2012 - South by Southwest Interactive (SXSW) Festival, Aspen Ideas Festival, and BlogHer. The bloggers will share their unique perspectives, provide insights from the events and spotlight "moments of inspiration" via and

The correspondent search kicked off in August at the BlogHer 2011 Conference, when women from around the country were invited to share their stories of inspiration on for a chance to be selected as correspondents.

"These women were stand-out choices among the compelling entries from a pool of remarkably talented and inspiring women," said Jamie Stein, Director of Digital Platforms at PepsiCo. "This is a first for PepsiCo and expands on our efforts to support female digital entrepreneurs by giving them insider access. We look forward to reading and watching their coverage. "

Here's who I'll be joining this year:

Angela Chee is the Founder and Editor of She is also a contributor to Lifetime Moms, Momversation,, and several parenting sites. Previously, she worked in television as a Host, Anchor and Reporter for HGTV, E! News, and local news stations in Los Angeles and San Diego. Born on the East Coast and raised in Southern California, she is a first generation Chinese American fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She enjoys yoga, volleyball, cooking, and keeping up with her two children. Angela graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Communication.

Tammy Tibbetts is Founder and President of She's the First, a not-for-profit that sponsors girls' education in the developing world, helping them become the first in their families to graduate, and nurtures the leadership of young women in the United States. Tammy co-founded GIRLS WHO ROCK, the benefit concert for She's the First during Internet Week New York, which has raised more than $23,000 in two years for girls' sponsorships in Tanzania and Uganda. Tammy passionately advocates the power of social media to create social change. She is the first in her family to travel to Africa, to live in New York City, and the first in her immediate family to earn a bachelor's degree.
