Do you believe in play? If one thing that haven't kids has taught me is that it is ok to kick-back and play. Melissa Kojima, a Los Angeles based, illustrator, designer and dreamer also believes in play and has created cool paper play goods for everyone to play with, and playful illustrations for children and those who are young at heart.
With a background illustrating the children's section of the Los Angeles Times Newspaper, and working for Loyola Marymount University, making fantastical, animal, paper mache, opera masks for their opera department, play has helped her get over my fear of making mistakes and create the line Yes, I believe in PLAY. Through the line, she wants to encourage other to let go of fear & connect in meaningful ways, as way as a way to spark imagination & express feelings.
