We are big fans of the Very Hungry Caterpillar in my house. I read this book hundreds of times with my older daughter, and now I am passing down the tradition with my toddler by reading other Eric Carle stories like Brown Bear and Brown Bear What Do You See?
Since we are such fans of World of Eric Carle, I was thrilled when we were asked to participate in The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day (March 20th) to celebrate his iconic story.
To celebrate, we have been emersed in the World of Eric Carle by enjoying a collection of games and art projects featuring the Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. Some of our favorites are the The Very Hungry Caterpillar Match and Munch Game, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Lacing Cards and the Very Hungry Caterpillar puzzle that we were able to make our own by coloring in our own caterpillar.
