Syncing Your Style: Boots & Blazers

With the change of the weather, comes my favorite season...Autumn. I love the layered look and am quite happy to stow away my sandals and tanks and replace them with chic boots and blazers. I have rounded up several of my favs and put together a few looks that are easy to pull off, looked tied together and are suited for a day at the office, running around town or a business lunch.

J. Crew makes beautiful blazers and I love the details of this Campbell houndstooth blazer paired with straight-cut denim and ankle booties by Umberto Raffini. The coordinating elbow patches give an element of structure, charm and tradition.

The scrolled cut out details on the Umberto Raffini Kirby boots give an interesting artistic element while adding a little something special to the look. (not to mention that they are super comfy!)

To nod to my playful side, I paired a fun tee with the Rhodes Blazer from J.Crew paired with Malona heeled boots from Summit by White Mountain. They are simply gorgeous, seamlessly combine a bit of attitude with sophistication~all with wear all day comfort that makes them ideal for an easy day to night transition.

I can pair these boots with skinny jeans and a sweater too. I simply love them. They are equal parts sexy and cool and the exposed zippers are just perf for keeping up the 'tude.

Every wardrobe needs a staple black blazer. The cut and feel of THIS one from Old Navy makes it easy to dress up or play down. I added pops of color with bright tights and the rust colored Dosha boots from Latigo. The braided detail is fresh and lends a little bit of edge while offering super comfort and chic style. and the color? LOVE! It screams that Autumn has arrived in a big way.

I am a big fan of the chambray button up and love its versatility. Paired with this camel Regent blazer from J. Crew, patterned scarf and skinny cords from J. Jill paired with the SHOW stopper boots from Summit by White Mountain. They literally turn heads every time I wear them~they are that beautiful. The laser cuts and the graduated color are simply devine. The are by every means a work of art. Even their name is pretty... "Tulia". Le sigh.

Love the scarf? It is J. Jjill's compassion fund scarf which provides support to community based organizations that help disadvantaged and homeless women become more self-sufficient.

For a much more traditional look, I paired this amazing navy blazer from Lands' End (it is The blazer you need in your closet!) with this soft, elegant diagonal cut sweater from J. Jill and Lucia riding boots from Umberto Raffini. The result is classic, timeless and comfortable all while being completely pulled together.

Who doesn't love the classic riding boot? the buckles are perfectly placed, the leather supple, and the color is simply gorg. These will be my "go to" boots for years to come.
