Every year around this time, my house gets a serious case of the blahs. I know logically it's not my house. It's me. I'm a little bored. But, freshening up my house always seems to improve my outlook. One way I like to bring newness to my house is by adding a new throw to drape on our couch. Since it's pretty cold in my house, I can feel good about my purchase because it's practical (and fun). There are so many stylish throws to choose from graphic and trendy to classic and subtle. Here are a few of my favorites...
The Greek Key Throw from Furbish would make any chair or couch look trendy. Also available in gray. Made from 74% recycled cotton, 24% acrylic and 2% other recycled fibers. Size: 50? x 60? ($150)
Another graphic option is Cococozy's Logo Throw. Available in 5 other colors, this statement throw is cozy for the colder months but gorgeous enough to keep out all year long. 100% cotton knit jacquard. Size: 50"x60". ($330)
The Wool & Cashmere Throw from Garnet Hill has a touch of cashmere for unbelievable softness. Size: 50" x 70" (includes fringe) In five colors. Monogramming is also available. ($128)
The ultimate luxury is a faux fur throw plus they are very warm.Z Gallerie's Lazo Throw is a great deal and I love the sophisticated steel color. Size: 50" x 60" ($59.65)
I also can't get enough of the Pendleton 5th Avenue Glacier Park Throw. The striped, primary colors look so classic and modern in their own way. Made from super fine merino wool and the most luxurious throw Pendleton makes. Size: 54" x 72" with 3" fringe. ($138)
