I don't know about you lovelies, but when spring rolls around, I like to switch out my heavier winter appropriate fragrances for lighter scents. I'm the kind of girl who always likes to wear a little something, even if it's just a hint of a fragrance. I've worn some semblance of a scent for so long that I feel a bit naked if I leave the house with spritzing myself. Am I alone?
I've been jonesin' to add some new scents to my collection, so I was elated when I had the opportunity to try a few out recently. I'm going to share my favorites with you so you can smell sweet this season too!
Typically, I don't go for overly floral scents. I tend to gravitate toward fresh clean scents, so Commodity's Moss and Rain fragrances are right up my alley. Moss combines fresh cool greens with a hint of musk and the result is magical. My hubs is all about it...And he's a tough critic when it comes to fragrances because he doesn't like anything too strong smelling. So, you can bet Moss will be rocked on the regular by yours truly this spring.
Rain, on the other hand, does have floral tones, but they manage to be fresh and light versus heavy and overpowering. This was the hubs' second choice. And I have to say that it came in a very close second for me too. I'll probably switch between the two for a while, but I digress...
And then there's Mimosa. I liked this scent simply because of the name. Haha! No really...Apart from my fondness for bubbly, this citrus scented fragrance is perfect for when you need a little pick me up. The citrus undertone is invigorating!

I also tend to love tropical and exotic smelling fragrances. It's probably the Florida girl in me. I usually wear these in the form of body sprays. I have found that there are some inexpensive body sprays out there that smell quite lovely on. When I'm using a budget friendly scent, I typically like to layer it with a body wash and lotion in the same scent. Bodycology's Morrocan Sunset might just be my new go to body spray. The hibiscus scent reminds me of home. Just sayin'.
