Spork to the rescue! With two kids, finding some sort of cutlery to send with lunches is always a dilemma. Sending my good silverware means I inevitably am missing a ton of dessert forks and teaspoons from my set, while sending disposable cutlery makes me cringe at the amount of trash generated.
Light My Fire's Spork Little($6.99 for a 3-pack) just might be the answer!
Each packet comes with three "sporks"--fork/spoon blends that are perfect for little hands and mouths. The design has been adjusted for the toddler set, the handle is shorter, the material is a bit thicker and the serrated edges have been removed for protection. The material is heat resistant as well as dishwasher-safe (a plus in any home with small children)!
We packed ours along with our lunches and both kids liked the fact that the Spork Little is one piece of cutlery with a fork and spoon combined. It's one less thing for them to inadvertently lose and I don't have to worry about my kitchen silverware not returning home. The size is perfect for my young elementary children and would work well for the toddler set. The handle is the perfect size for self-feeding or for mom to help them along.
Momtrends was not paid for this post. We did get samples for testing.
