With all the emphasis placed on pregnancy, the postpartum period isn't something that is generally thought about until it happens. With one-month postpartum and feeling great, here are some of my go-to staples that are helping me get back to (almost) normal.
Rest: Well, this one is challenging and not much you can do but literally sleep when the baby sleeps. I have been trying to do this as much as possible as well as go to sleep when the baby goes to sleep for the first time at night (hello, 8pm bedtime). To help me with nursing and sleep during the day and night, I have been using the innovative HALO Swivel Sleeper Bassinet. Featuring 360 degree swivel technology, you can literally have your baby right next to you as well as use its side wall that lowers - making it easier to take care of your baby throughout the night. I also love its soothing noises including a lullaby, nature and womb sounds and vibration that gently lulls a baby back to sleep.
Wear Comfortable Nursing Bras: Ever since I delivered I have been living in the incredible line of bras from Bravado Designs. Featuring a beautiful array of functional, comfortable and stylish nursing bras, I love how easy it allows me to nurse while also wearing chic and feminine styles. This includes favorites like their new chic Elegant Embrace Nursing Bra and the super soft Confetti Nursing Bra - both of which are so lightweight, soft and stretchy.
With nursing, I have also been loving the CupCake Nursing Pads from Cake Lingerie. Designed to absorb everything from light-to-heavy milk flow, the non-disposable CupCake Nursing Pads are so easy-to-use and offer an effective way absorb milk throughout the day. Also, they are made with 100% organic materials including organic wicking cotton outer-layer transfers moisture to the inner cotton hemp fleece inner-layer to keep you feeling dry. This provides a pad that is thin, contoured round-shaped pads discreetly provide the perfect fit for every breast shape and size.

Eat Well: With nursing and general exhaustion I have to make sure that I am energized for the baby and the rest of my children. One of my favorite ways to start the day is by having oatmeal from Love Grown Foods. This includes a line of super gluten-free oats such as Simply Pure and Nuts and Seeds that are packed with natural protein and fiber and only made with pure ingredients such as quinoa flakes, amaranth flakes and chia. Rich in flavor, I love how these oats are unsweetened and super nutritional that give me the boost that I need to start the day.
Another favorite is the healthy snack line, Gold Emblem Abound. Launched in CVS/pharmacy stores this summer, these snacks are free of all artificial preservatives and flavors and are made with wholesome ingredients that help you feel nourished and satisfied. This includes protein-rich favorites like CVS Gold Emblem Abound Walnut Halves & Pieces and CVS Gold Emblem Abound Unsalted Whole Cashews. My favorite is the CVS Gold Emblem Abound Omega-3 Trail Mix where I love enjoying a blend of walnuts, pepitas, cashews, and hazelnuts with dried cranberries and sweet raisins for the perfect sweet and savory mid-day snack.
For a sweet treat, I have been loving the incredible dark chocolates from HNINA. Featuring seven different flavors of chocolate, HNINA dark-chocolates are all non-GMO, pesticide-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy-free and kosher. This includes delicious and non-sugar optionssuch as Almonds and Hazelnuts, Macadamias and Pistachios, Brazilian Nuts and Almonds and Coconut, Walnuts and Cashews, Seeds, Pecans and Pine Nuts and Pistachios and Hazelnut. I love enjoying this as a sweet and healthy treat after the kids go to bed that provides me with a ton of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals from the nuts and dark chocolate.

These super comfortable and chic PJs offer new moms the ultimate in relaxation with their comfortable full-length pants and cute A-line top with a lace trim. A fantastic gift idea for a new mom or for the holidays, PajamaGram also offers PJs for men and kids with some other favorites being the Tartan Plaid Sleepshirt and the Raspberry Plaid TJs.
