What's new in 2015 you ask? Check out the most stylish car on the road, the all new Subaru Legacy. We drove it for a week and this is what we found.
Our journey began in the heart of Manhattan where we loaded up for a week-long getaway to the coast of Long Island and the mountains of Connecticut. Without any effort, I was able to install the car/booster seats using the latch system (cleverly hidden behind a velcro strap). There was no searching for the metal attachments deep inside the crease of the seat or struggling to get the seats hooked to the metal bar.
The Legacy offers impressive space for both people and cargo. We were able to fit two large car seats in the rear leaving plenty of space for legs, activities and an open center console/armrest along with 4 large travel bags and 9 bags of groceries in the trunk.
The 6-cylinder Legacy has plenty of power to get you where you want to go without spending a ton on gas. We drove 460 miles on a full tank of gas, getting an impressive 24.5 miles per gallon.
We arrived at the coast using the voice-activated GPS Navigation system that held up against my long time travel companion, the Garmin. The large 7-inch screen in the Subaru Legacy is most valuable when viewing a map while driving. The car's safety features were put to the test when we encountered rain, sleet and snow in the mountains of Connecticut. The all-wheel drive performed exceptionally well through the changing terrain delivering unfounded trust and confidence in a car.

The Subaru Legacy 2015 is quite possibly the safest car I have ever driven. The EyeSight Driver assistance system helped maintain a safe driving distance between cars, the blind spot detection notified me by lighting up the side mirrors when cars were located in my blind spot and the lane change notification was certainly a wake up call as it beeped to keep me in the lane.
If you are in the market for a safe and stylish car, the 2015 Subaru Legacy is definitely one to consider!
Disclosure: I am a voluntary participant in the Subaru of America Legacy Blogger program. I have been asked by Subaru of America to review the 2015 Subaru Legacy in exchange for the use of a short-term vehicle loan. I received a loaner gas card, vehicle and Subaru branded promotional items for participating in the program. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
