Candy wrapper bags are colorful and super trendy right now. Our favorites come from Nahui Ollin designed by Olga Abadi. The bags and accessories use an ancient Mayan technique of binding everyday materials into handbags. The process prevents the emission of harmful chemicals into our atmosphere AND uses recycled material.We're keen on the Clutch ($21) collection.

Here's how it works: Defective candy wrappers are rescued before being brought to the landfills and used in the construction of each bag. It can take up to four thousand candy wrappers and four days for an individual artisan to construct one bag. No two bags are the same, keep that in mind when shopping and enjoy these silhouettes:
