I don't know what it is about spring, but the second I have it in my sights, I want to swathe myself in uber BRIGHT hues! There is something so cheerful about vibrant shades like yellow, turquoise and pink to name a few.
Now that I'm a mama, I've found myself gravitating to bold colors when it comes time to dress my little ones too. While I do enjoy outfitting my lil' lady bean in classic Easter pastels from time to time, for most of the upcoming season, you can expect to find her in statement hues!
My affection for color is just one of the many reasons I'm in love with Oilily's spring/summer 2013 collection. This season's theme is World of Wonders and the prints they designed around it are pure magic. You'll find animals that look like they're lifted straight from a kiddo's dreams. Where else would you find a flying hippo?

One of my favorite things about my four year old is his imagination. I often listen to him chattering away to his toys while playing some little game that he's made up and I just love how inspired he is to create new things to entertain himself. The clothes in Oilily's World of Wonders collection were tailor made for imaginative kids like my little dude. I feel like it's my job as a parent to foster his imagination and even something as simple as the tee shirt I put on him in the morning can do just that!
