We love spotting trends for our kids, and a few days ago we discovered the sweetest collection of dresses from New York-based Pippa & Julie.


To celebrate the launch of their new e-commerce site, we enjoyed a lavish brunch at the Mondrian soho as well as enjoyed the fun DIY Ovando floral crown-making station and a hair and braid bar by The Stylisted. The girls and I were overjoyed as we noshed and soaked in the elegant environment that was filled with gorgeous dresses from Pippa & Julie. I love looking through the racks of clothing as I soaked in their beautiful colors and rich layers in such pieces as the Irina and the Robin for a baby, Edith and the stunning Makenna.

Created by designer, Fran Arazi in 1987 she named the label after her daughter, Julia and the title character of a Robert Browning poem. Fran went on to design other collections but revived the label in 2007 when Julia joined her in the business. Today, Fran and Julia work side by side; Fran as President and CEO as well as the sole designer of the line and Julia as Creative Director and Chief Merchant. This includes a fun clothing line for girls in sizes newborn (3 months old) through 16 years old with a major retail presence at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Von Maur, Lord & Taylor, Dillard’s, The Bay, Chasing Fireflies, Garnet Hill, Amazon, Zappos and boutiques all over North America.

They recently decided to expand the line and offer their very first direct-to-consumer effort with the launch of Pippa & Julie. The beautiful site, designed by Designed/Memory (Matthew Daniel Siskin) who just did Beyonce's site, features a whimsical and fun backdrop as consumers can explore their contemporary and modern aesthetic.


The dresses are simply magical and perfect for any upcoming special occasions and holiday events as girls can soak in the wonder of this distinctly feminine and ultra gorgeous line.
