There are so many products out there to make the pregnancy process a little easier. From new food items to new creams, here are a few of our current favorites:
Nursing Happens Infinity Scarf: A lot of pregnancy is about planning, which is why we love the new Itzy Ritzy Nursing Happens Infinity Breast Feeding Scarf, a stylish piece that transforms from a trendy scarf to a soft, breathable nursing cover. We love how this makes it super convenient and easy to use with no snaps, buckles, or complicated wrapping required. It also unwraps from a double-looped infinity scarf around the neck to a single loop that drapes over the shoulder for feedings for full coverage. Made of high-end jersey knit material, Itzy Ritzy’s Infinity Breastfeeding Scarf allows mother and child the opportunity for skin-to-skin bonding while nursing or bottle feeding as well as a fashionable piece that can be used when you aren't with your baby. The Itzy Ritzy Nursing Happens™ Infinity Breastfeeding Scarf retails for $24.99 and is available at www.itzyritzy.com, and nationwide via stores and independent specialty boutiques in April.
Carmex: My lips have always been incredibly dry during pregnancy where I have always loved Carmex, the classic lip care brand. This includes favorites like the Soothing Lip Care that gently provides relief to dryness as it moisturizes. I love their glide-on balm where you will find cocoa butter for smooth, velvety feel plus a touch of mineral oil to help soften and hydrate skin.
Bundle Organics: I am always drinking smoothies but it can be challenging to prepare them everyday during the week. To get my nutrients and my daily smoothies, I have been loving Bundle Organics, a new line of organic prenatal juices featuring three delicious flavors such as Kale Apple Lemon Ginger, Orange Carrot Berry and Dark Berry and Veggies. I tried all of them and I love how I am getting my daily nutrients such as Folic Acid, Calcium, Vitamin D, Omega 3, and Iron while drinking something really enjoyable. Portable, healthy and great for you and your growing baby, Bundle Organics is one of our favorite new juices that I can't wait to see in more stores.
9Months: With some upcoming celebrations it can be easily to feel left out. While we love mocktails, there is something special to bubbly for parties and a new line, 9Months, is allowing women to enjoy a celebratory toast with their non-alcoholic beverage dedicated to pregnant women. This includes non-alcoholic wines from a vineyard in Southern Australia and come in two delicious flavors, Sparkling Red and Sparkling White. Personally I have been loving the 9Months Sparkling White with its rich golden color that has been great with the warmer weather parties. Additionally, the wines are 100% natural containing no alcohol, no added sugar, no artificial coloring or flavoring and are gluten free! They also donate a portion of sales to the March of Dimes charity.
Majamas: For loungewear we have been loving Majamas, a women's apparel company that makes comfort bras, loungewear, nursing and maternity clothing, and much more. With all products made in the USA, I love their organic comfort bras that are super stretchy and fashionable as they offer the support nursing and pregnant women need.
StriVectin SD Advanced™ Intensive Concentrate for Wrinkles & Stretch Marks: One aspect of pregnancy that can be difficult to control is stretch mark. Enter StriVectin SD Advanced™ Intensive Concentrate for Wrinkles & Stretch Marks, a revamped formula that is packed with anti-aging technologies including copper (a great anti-aging ingredient) that helps to develop collagen, elastin and promotes the production of hyaluronic acid. This works to help produce collagen as it works to change the texture of stretch marks as well targets youth collagen and elastin for healthy, younger looking skin. Wendy Bellissimo for Destination Maternity: I recently attended a preview for Wendy Bellissimo's new collection at Destination Maternity, and I love checking out the pieces that featuredWendy’s signature boho-chic aesthetic that were both comfortable and stylish. The collection features every day, easy-wearing essentials like billowy maxi-dresses, layering tops, on-trend denim with double zipper front pockets, tribal-inspired sweaters, moto jackets and scarves. The pieces can be worn together for a head-to-toe look that is fashion forward and perfect to be used as accent pieces that can be layered into both mom-to-be’s maternity and existing wardrobes. The collection will be in Destination Maternity and Motherhood Maternity stores and online beginning in September 2014.
Belly Blanket by Belly Armor: As someone who is always typing I really appreciate the Belly Blanket by Belly Armor, a portable blanket also made with RadiaShield Fabric that helps protect mom and child against every day radiation from cell phones, laptops, iPads, etc. Made with an ultra soft cotton, I love how the RadiaShield Fabric keeps me warm and protected from any harmful radiation that you simply drape around your midsection.
